My daughter told me that yesterday was her second worst day. Then she broke out crying saying, "I don't want to be a kid anymore. It's too hard". My heart broke.
On the other hand, she was crying because she was getting a date stamp on her paper at school and her teacher told her to sit down. It is a great moment as a parent when you can revel in the fact that this is the biggest problem your child has at school.
