Our first Soccer Saturday of the spring. Amazing - we didn't freeze. We ended up in a field off to the side out of the wind. It was a beautiful 65 degrees. WOW! They now play with a goalie and a bigger field. It was a fun game to watch.
We made this a NO Friends Saturday. It has been a crazy couple of weeks. We thought we should regroup and have fun as a family. We also got to play outside, throw the baseball and softball around, go for a bike ride and get the house cleaned. What a fun Saturday. We did get calls from friends and had to say no. I was surprised at how little resistance we got. I think the kids were grateful for a quiet weekend too.
The best part of the day was going in before supper and getting the chia pets (kids) hair cut. Oh, how cute they look. We can actually see their eyes and their faces! It's amazing. We also got sandals and some new summer clothes. YEAH for the warmer weather.
