Today is my last day of work until August!!! YEAH!!! I'm doing a lot of cleaning so I can pretend to be ready for the fall.
Beth had dress rehearsal last night and Andy had soccer practice. My mother-in-law ended up with Andy at practice. It was very nice of her to help out. Somewhere in that time frame, Andy fell and hurt his wrist. I'm taking him to the doctor this morning. Cross your fingers that it's not broken AGAIN!
The dress rehearsal ran late last night. Beth did well. She knew where she had to be. VERY stressful as a parent. There are all of these parents there and I was afraid she would have a melt down. She ever so nicely waited until we left the PAC (45 minutes later that we were scheduled). Then she proceeded to scream at the top of her lungs - total meltdown. The rehearsal ran late so we didn't leave until 7:00. She hadn't had supper yet. I now firmly understand the term "Feeding time at the Zoo". Once she had something to eat and drink, she morphed back into a a little girl.
Only a couple more hours until total freedom........And the sun decided to shine today. The heavens even agree that this is a wonderful day!
