We had a great weekend. I rode the kids over to the dam with their bikes. That will be a fun activity this summer. The water was a little cold, but we did hike back by the damn to see the water rushing.
I went and bought my hanging baskets today. STICKER SHOCK! They are so beautiful and make the house look so nice, it's hard not to invest. Especially if we get our act together and put this house up for sale. I want it on the market June 1 - stay tuned.
On a political note - did anyone read the article in Newsweek about John McCain? In his last speech he talked about how, if he was president, he would kick Russia out of the G8, not include China and ask in Brazil and India. Is this guy for real? Does he want to start another cold war? On top of that, we need Russia and China to help stabilize the middle east mess that we made. (North Korea and Iran anyone?) You can read the article here.
On an entirely different subject - we had a flyer in church this weekend. It was about science (evolution) vs. creationism. It was a interesting take. It claims that Genesis is a Hebrew poem. You can read the article at Little Rock Scripture. I thought it was fascinating.
