Pitcher, not a belly itcher...

Andy had a baseball game last night. Beth had softball practice. I walked her over to her field for practice, came back to Andy's game and my father-in-law says "Andy's on the mound". I thought he was joking until I saw my cherub on the pitcher's mound. I was scared stiff - this kid hasn't practiced to be a pitcher and now they have him out on the mound! UGH! He did fairly good for a novice. Let me phrase this differently - he didn't do any worse than the rest of the pitching staff. This is the first year where the kids pitch to each other. Walk, Walk, Walk...it is a little boring to watch.

Beth seems to have really taken to softball. Her first game is next week. I'll be anxious to see how she does. She can field the ball and hit it. Chip off of the old block....

Freedom is wonderful. I got the Wii Fit today. I arrived at Shopko at 8:30 - after I dropped the kids off at school. I felt like a real geek, but I was the third sale by then. I guess I wasn't the only one waiting for it to drop. It is everything they say it is. I LOVE it!!! Very cool. The kids will be anxious to try it out when they get home tonight.

You are not the only Wii geek I know. My friend Amy got it. The funny part is she doesn't know how to work the Wii so she had to wait until the kids got home to show her.
