Beth was playing on the playground this afternoon and received a huge bump on her head. She didn't know exactly what happened. Her friend said that she got knocked by a kid on the swings into a metal pole. We called the nurse and she thought it was important to bring her in because she couldn't remember what happened. So I spent 3 1/2 hours in urgent care. They looked her over and then ordered a CT scan. Guess what, she just has a huge bump.
I'm certainly glad that we sold off our short term stocks last week. Go with the gut....
Andy and I are fighting over the book Brisingr. When he reads books that are rated for seventh grade, he tends to have a few questions. So I try to read ahead to explain the more complicated concepts. Plus, it's a great book.
Tim bought us a new snowblower today. We are set for the "more than average" amount of snowfall this year. Now I need to get going and order the kids their boots.

OUCH! Poor Beth. I get a hundred bumps and bruises and don't remeber how I got them. I have also seen the boys get bumped and were to busy to remember how it happened. It's getting expensive to be a kid these days.
