We were at a wedding yesterday. During the homily the minister made reference to marriage by stating:
"First you have to be lovers" and "It is like an erotic perfume".
Now if you think I misunderstood because I tuned out, think again. He said it multiple times. Then the bride and groom kissed at the end of the service. I am positive that there was some serious tongue action going on. Obviously this wasn't a Catholic wedding. I don't remember much about the homily in my own wedding, but I do know that the priest didn't refer to anything being erotic.
On a different note, the kids had their first soccer game yesterday. It turned out to be a beautiful day. They both did well, but were very tired. They need to get in condition again.
We're just cleaning up and getting things done around the house. It looks like we're going to look at a new house this week. I guess we'll see how that goes.
