Decisions...Decisions...

Well it happened. Tim actually called this one. He said, "Andy will think swimming is great until a friend calls him to do something and he can't go." Well, his friend wanted him to go to Madison with him today and stay overnight. The kids are off of school today and tomorrow. Andy and Beth have swimming practise today - only the second one. Tim told Andy that it was up to him. He could choose to go to Madison with his friend or swim team. However, if he decided not to go to swimming, we would not continue with swim team. It was too expensive to pick and choose. Andy decided to stay home. It was an agonizing decision.

I was proud of him. I want him to be enthusiastic about the sport to the point where he makes the decisions to want to go. I don't want to have to push him to continue after we shell out a small fortune. Plus, we are having Beth try it because Andy is doing the sport. She has to be there while he practises - she might as well see if she likes it. Well, she likes it now. That would have put us in a perdicament - making Andy sit and watch even though he is there.

On a better note, only six more days until the election. I'm obsessed with it - I love watching all of the news shows. I wonder what I'll do on November 5?
