Happy 2009!

We made our wishes and ate long noodles last night. (As well as steak and crab legs). We should now have a long life (if the fat and butter didn't negate the noodles) and our wishes should come true. Beth wished for a new puppy and I think Andy did too. They thought we should go to the pound today to pick one out. They'll have to wait a couple of months before they get to paint the other eye in.

We spent New Years Eve at home. We had a Guitar Hero tournament and watched Shrek 2. It was my kind of New Years Eve. I'm just not into the crowds anymore. I have my coochey-coo, I don't need to stand in a crowded smoky bar to impress him.

I resolve to focus on my mind, body and spirit this year. I just want to live a healthier life - which will trickle down to my family living a healthier life. (I buy the groceries!) Let's face it - I'm not getting any younger and this is as good as it's going to get. I'd better hang on to it! :-)
