Good luck or bad luck - it is all how you look at it. We were given a pure bred dog who is five-years old. The person who gave us the dog wanted to breed her. In five years, she never went in heat. We have her for one month and she went in heat. Luckily, they put a diaper on her at the kennel - the LAST thing we need right now is a bunch of puppies.

Our house closes tomorrow. The sign outside says SOLD. That is a good feeling.

Now we can focus on the new house. We have appliances bought - we need to pick out siding and stone for the front. Hopefully we can get that done by the end of the week. I am anxious to get started.

The kids were home with a sitter today. They were having a ball playing outside. I see that the flowers are starting to come up. These are all signs that spring is here. It'll be the last year to enjoy the flowers. Our new house won't have as big of a back yard. Andy and Beth will miss that.
