Our vacation is officially over. We had a really good time. The weather was cooler than we would have liked it, but the kids swam every day. This year the kids also brought their bikes - which gave them more freedom.
Highlights - water balloon fight at the pool with two older kids, catching little frogs, riding bikes/scooters/roller blades all over the pond, diving for golf balls, eating reese peanut butter cup s'mores along with NINE bags of chips and camp fires. It's just good fun.
It was also good to get away from the house. We got back and the fireplace is almost done, light fixtures are up and most of the countertops are in. The granite is still not in. Carpet comes on Monday and Tuesday. Hopefully we'll be able to move mid-week.
Beth got a hair cut tonight and it looks really cute. She's really excited about her birthday next weekend. We just picked her up an ice cream cake for Saturday.
