2009 Reflections

DHARMA
Our Dharmas have both eyeballs. This means that our wishes for the year came true.

So I thought it would be a good time to reflect on this year.

In the year of the swine flu, our family was healthy. We had minor ailments and surgeries but nothing that could be considered worrisome. We had good health insurance - something so many don't.

Our kids are both doing well in school and have nice friends. They are nice kids and fun to be around.

In this strange economy, we both have jobs that give us a good life. If fact, Tim is starting a new one in the new year which will eliminate the night shift. We had a lot of time as a family this past year.

We built our new home and it was a smooth process. We love this house and location more than we anticipated.

Our new home was broke into and nothing was damaged. The only thing taken were prescription drugs. It could have been so much worse. On the flip side we have dead bolts on all of the doors. We are now safer than before this incident.

I know I made a difference in a couple of students lives this year.

We got a new dog this year. She is a nice dog for the kids and is teaching them responsibility.

Best of all, we have a nice family, nice neighbors and good friends.

2010 has a lot to live up to.
