Disney on Ice

Our self portrait before the show. Beth and I had a fabulous day. The show was really good - Disney knows how to do a set and costumes. Beth really liked it. We were rink side so we got a close up of the skaters and their costumes.

There were a lot of little girls dressed up like princesses. The skaters didn't do a meet and greet - I thought they'd have the princesses available to meet after. Beth liked the skating. She is having a friend over to sleep over tonight. It will be interesting to see what she tells her.

And here is Beth with her $12 slushy after her $10 bucket of popcorn. I won't complain because the lady in front of me told me she was buying for her 5 grandchildren. I got off cheap.

The big talk at the kid's School Carnival last night was about the move to West. Most parents felt like we do - a little shocked that it happened so fast and unsure of what this will all look like. Busing seems to be the big concern - how long will these kids be on the bus.
