Sunday already

We had a nice day yesterday. We got the house cleaned. I spent all morning cleaning while asking myself why we don't have a cleaning lady. Then it became very clear - I AM the cleaning lady.

We spent the afternoon and evening over at Tim's sister's house. They had a luge run for the kids complete with a jump. The kids had a blast sledding all afternoon and evening. We ended up having a fire with s'mores. It was a nice way to spend a Saturday. We ordered Domino's and I must say - not seeing what all of the fuss is about. If fact, I thought the crust tasted more like cardboard now.

Andy has a soccer tournament today - all day. It is in town so it won't be too bad. We'll post pics and results later.

Beth asked me yesterday what "gay" meant.

I gave her the "It means you are happy."

She says "But isn't there another one?"

I say "What do you mean?"

She says "The one with two girls?"

I gasp.

I say "Who told you that?"

She says "Someone at school."

I thought it best to leave the conversation there. I want to know who the someone is ....what could a bunch of eight-year-olds be talking about that would include this topic?
