We're headed to Appleton this afternoon to see Andy's team play in the tournament. We thought we'd go for the first game, let him suit up and sit on the bench. He can be the injured reserve for this game.
Andy's in pretty good spirits considering his broken arm. He'll get the cast on Monday. We're banking on this "sleeve" that I ordered will work and allow him to swim. His mood could change if it doesn't work.
We have been working on getting our living room in order. I can't believe how much time (and $$) it takes to pick out furniture. It's all coming together.
Beth is in full party planning mode for her birthday party. Yes - it is a month away. You'd never know if if you talked with her. She already filled out the invites, bought the party favors and blown up the palm tree, limbo stick and monkey. (It's a Luau theme this year.)
FYI - don't buy any projects for the kids made of wood that do not include instructions. Because if you do, you end up complete two projects.
And finally, we are the most "unfair" parents because we make the kids go to bed at 9:00 during the summer. My kingdom, my rules. Now that I know we come from royalty this should hold. Do I need a crest and moto? I'll have to give some thought to that.
