End of a long weekend

Saturday - Fair

We went to the Marshfield Fair on Saturday.  We spent a fortune on rides, games and food. Good Times.  We found the standard gyros, funnel cake, cheese curds, cream puffs and pop corn. However, Beth discovered Gelato - notice that she won't put it down to get her picture taken. We also walked through to see the animals.  What's the fair without walking through poo?

Here the kids are trying to get a fish. Last year both kids got one. This year only Andy. As  we walked away, Jason started crying - so Andy gave him his fish.  What a great kid - AND we didn't have to bring the fish home.  I'll have to find out if the fish still lives - our fish last year only lasted a couple of days.

Sunday -

Mom and Dad stopped in for lunch. It was nice to see them again. Then both kids went to friends houses - left us with a quiet afternoon.

Monday -

Today was panic because nothing really got done over the weekend. Laundry was an all day affair.

I took Beth to get some new jeans - I noticed that the jeans she wore yesterday were a little tight.  The sales were pretty good.

Andy got a cell phone - he was very disappointed that it wasn't "new".  I took the new one.  But he is excited that he even has one - and the one he has does have all of the bells and whistles. We finally decided that it was time - he will be staying after school now for flag football and we need to be able to get a hold of him.

So now it's time to look at the folders and get the homework done, iron the clothes for tomorrow and pack lunches.
