Andy is having a bad week. He lost the knob on his bedroom door because he was locking us out. He lost his flag football game so he's not in the Superbowl today. He got detention yesterday - he claims the whole class will be in detention today. He says it's "completely unfair because he was reading and not doing anything." And if that isn't bad enough, when I picked him up from CCD he was angry. His teacher didn't show up so the class sat and talked for any hour. The director came into the classroom and told the kids they have to make the class up on a Saturday. Like that's going to happen.
Beth has hidden a tooth from the "Tooth Fairy" for the last month. She must have asked me if she was supposed to lose a molar and I told her no. I thought she was referring to a permanent tooth. Let's face it - after the first couple I lose track. Well, the tooth fell out and she thought she'd get in trouble. I admit - I laughed pretty hard when she told me she has been keeping this a secret. She said that she put the tooth under her pillow a couple of times and the Tooth Fairy didn't come. Just recently she's been asking about the Tooth Fairy. Now I know why. So we had Andy stick money under her pillow last night before she went to bed so that she could see Tim and I the whole time. She found it and didn't question. However I think the gig is up.
Beth and I are going on a field trip to the cranberry marsh this morning. It should be a nice day. Then we have to see Andy's last flag football game. Tomorrow the kids are off of school. It looks to be a nice weekend.
