We've had a great weekend so far. Thanksgiving was fun. Everyone came to our house. We missed Jen's family. The food was great and the movie was fun. The kids loved playing games with Grandma and Grandpa. Good Times... Good times.
Tim worked today. Beth, Andy and I went shopping this afternoon. The kids were dying to see what Black Friday was all about. They found out it wasn't very exciting - especially when we weren't shopping for them. Then they both got ornery. We did pick up some presents for the cousins. We went to the Hallmark store and buy their Christmas Tree ornaments. That salvaged the afternoon.
Beth and I baked this afternoon as well. Our popcorn balls didn't turn out. (that's saying it mildly - they were goopy, soggy and didn't stick together) Our toasties bubbled over. At least our puppy chow and church windows turned out. We'll do more tomorrow.
The kids are watching Charlie Brown now. Tomorrow we'll deck the halls. Tim and Andy may go hunting. It'll be really cold, so they'll see what the temps are in the morning. My sister just reminded me about Christmas card pictures - we'll have to work on that too.
