We've been busy lately. I hosted Book Club on Thursday. We read the Hunger Games books. They were really good. Andy has finished them as well. Beth's friends were also here. I'm not sure if I can really call her part "book club". None of the girls seem to read the book they pick. Next month is our Poker night. That should be fun.
Beth had a friend over today to work on their science fair board. The science fair isn't until April, but the girls were excited. I thought they might as well get it done early. They are doing the "jumping coin". She is at a birthday party sleepover tonight. Andy's friends are all busy so he's stuck home the the 'rents. He has a project for science on Viking I. So he did some work on that.
Tim is working all weekend, so I'm in charge of the running. Beth has ice show pictures tomorrow. After she's done, I'm running Andy to soccer. (I have five minutes between events for travel) When he's done I'm running Beth to ice skating practise. It'll be quite the afternoon.
I need to carve time out to work on my class. I missed class because of Thursday's book club. I know - I sound like my students. BUT there is a big difference - I'm pulling an A. I hope to get some work done on the class tonight.
AND, we're still waiting to see the outcome of the vote and how this will affect my job. It just sprinkles another layer of stress to everything.
