Thursday already?

This week is going too fast. Tim is back to work today. The kids and I are going to the "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" this afternoon. That is - if they clean their rooms. I asked Beth if her room was clean and she said "yes". I followed that up by "If I go into your room, will I be mad because it is not clean?"  She doesn't even miss a beat and says, "Yeah, I'm 99% sure".  My threats about not going to the movie if rooms aren't clean don't even seem to phase her.

I finished my first class in my PhD program. It feels good that I can actually do this. Then I opened the next class that starts in a couple of weeks and looked at the amount of reading and thought - "whose idea was this?"  Somehow, I get in the groove and it works out. The nice thing is that I will only be working through half this semester. I can concentrate the last three modules without having to juggle work.

Snow is coming tomorrow. Doesn't God know that it is Spring? This is defined as buds on the trees, birds chirping in the sky and no more boots, mittens and winter coats. I guess he didn't get the memo.

So it's time to clean up the house. I'm sure there will be a couple mean games of Phase 10 or Mexican train this afternoon. We played Connect Four by Four yesterday and Tim and Andy won every round. So I'm staying away from that game today.
