Beth's Flip Flop

Give a girl a pair of clearanced flip flops and some water balloons and look what she can create!

The kids helped me clean the house today. It is nice that they are old enough to help.

I've been looking at different ways to get to Soldier Field and back in one day without Tim having to drive both ways. It looks like the Amtrak from Milwaukee will be the best bet. When we started this adventure, Andy's soccer team was going to take a coach bus. They found the bus too expensive. So we're back to finding our own way. We can't stay overnight because we go on vacation to Yogi on Sunday.

Beth has been skating every night this week for 1 1/2 hours. She is loving it.

Some old man told me I had really white teeth today as we were leaving Radio Shack. I thought Andy was going to die of embarrassment. We all thought it was rather creepy. Although, it is nice to know that I have nice white teeth.

Andy always takes me to a Harry Potter movie on my birthday (except for last year when we had to go to Despicable Me because Harry Potter wasn't out with a new movie) - it's quite the tradition. I was afraid of the movie being sold out so I bought tickets ahead. It's fun to see that I am part of the $25 million in prepaid sales. We'll have to watch the first part tonight or tomorrow to get ready for it.

I've been working on my new class this week. I can tell I'm in summer mode - it's taking me awhile to get into it. So I'm leaving it now and going to drop Andy at Soccer practise and Beth at skating.
