Beth and I are going to Shrek the Musical tonight. It should be a blast. We're headed up to Wausau to do a little shopping, have supper and then the play. I've been waiting a long time for her to get old enough to do this. Maybe others will be able to come with us next year.
We're getting ready to cook Andy's big turkey tomorrow. I made the brine last night. Tim will be in charge of getting it all set up tonight. He loves big cooking projects. It will be interesting to see how it turns out. Since we're on our own this Thanksgiving, we can always order pizza if it doesn't turn out. I have to get some groceries tonight for the pumpkin pie. Our company didn't pan out, so Andy is excited to make the pie this year.
Beth and I made turkey cookies for her class on Monday. They turned out cute, but what a mess! She was so excited to bring them to school.
I'm in pretty good shape for Christmas shopping. Black Friday doesn't even make it on my radar this year. I think the kids and I will head out to see the Muppet's movie on Friday instead. Tim has to work, so we can really play it by ear.
