Life is Fragile

I ran into a girlfriend of mine that I haven't seen in a month. She looked in a lot of pain. She stopped to tell me that she has cancer in her mouth and has just had an operation. She just started going through radiation and chemo. She has three young kids - one in Andy's class. It's moments like that when I realize how lucky I am. So I hugged my kids a little tighter last night and kissed my husband a little longer. Life can change on a dime.
