Why is it so hard??

Beth's room is still without light bulbs. Why? - you ask. Because her light fixture takes light bulbs we can't seem to find. Why would they make a light fixture with a strange size of light bulbs? Tim is off to Home Depot for the third time. I have been to two other places looking for the correct size. I decided to have a drink instead of looking.

This afternoon we went to hang the drapes and valences that we have. Beth's room has one window that is large and therefore needs two valences. We hang them and one is 1/2 inch shorter than the other. Then we go to hang our drapes. They are five inches too short. Good thing JCP is having a sale today - I sent for more. We'll see what the next batch brings. This drink is tasting good.

Tim is in his glory - we loaded up the dressers on the trailer. Why you ask? He was VERY worried about moving the dressers. They are now ready to go.

So we wait to talk with the builder. We aren't sure when we can move in - we know we have to be out of here on Friday. There is a lot of stuff to be done at the house - toilets installed - plumbing hooked up - furnace hooked up - banister in the big hole - mantel on the fire place - hearth on the fire place - granite installed - etc. I am optimistic that everything will be done in two days. Or maybe it's the drink - it's almost gone.
