*TWO more weeks and we should get more furniture delivered
*ONLY ONE more month of vacation before I have to return to full-time work
We made it back just before the really bad weather hit yesterday - we were on the edge of the storm at Pittsville. Quite the storm. We were lucky to have left when we did. I wouldn't have wanted to be in the truck driving during the worst part of the storm.
The storm stopped shortly for us to get out and get Beth to skating lessons. The power went out at the rink at the end of her lesson - the rink went black and they had to get the kids off the ice. Beth thought that was good fun.
In the middle of the night, Andy got scared and came into our bedroom. I told him to go sleep with Beth. Funny how the 11-year-old thinks his almost 9 year-old sister will keep him safe from the storm. She must be as good as a teddy bear. :-)
I feel bad for the flood victim in Milwaukee. Are you ready to store everything in a rubber boat?
