I have always hated the gifted and talented program. When I was in elementary school, girls and boys in my class got to be part of the program. I was never chosen even though I was just as smart as they were. Who knew that someday Tim and I would be advocating for our kid to get in the program. However, that is where the money is to challenge him.
So Andy was tested this week and came out gifted in math and language arts. He will now get extra work to move him forward. Tim and I were annoyed that he never came home with homework. The kid had more homework in kindergarten than he does not. This will hopefully open some doors for him in the future.

Andy waited for Beth to get up this morning to open his chocolate advent calendars. He says it's not fun to open them by himself. I thought that was so cute - AND in the spirit of Christmas. I love that they will remember this tradition with their families.
