Thumbs up!

Report cards came home yesterday. Both kids had great report cards. Hope this continues. Beth got the CARES award for the second month in a row. This means that she had her name put in the cares can more than any other kid in the class. (You get to put your name in the can if you do something nice for someone else) It is a good feeling to see that we are raising productive children.

My week hasn't been that productive. Here is just a snippet:

• I had one of my students go in detail of how she had to give her child an emena when she got home from her trip - her HONEYMOON! Really good honeymoon if that was the big story.
• Another student decides to tell me that her baby daddy is in another class of mine - and oh by the way - he is a pedophile. But when she was with him, she was drunk the whole time and they had a blast.

Really - are these the things you want to tell your instructor? Are these stories you would want to share with anyone??? What does one say after either of the stories?

We're having a quiet weekend. With being gone last weekend and having plans for the next three, we are trying to get things done around the house. Andy went to a friend's house and Beth invited a friend over. Beth made her Valentines yesterday and decorated her box today. She has been working really hard on it.
