First Day of Summer

I spent the first day of summer on a field trip with Beth. We went the the paper museum, the cheese factory and a dairy farm. Some time was spent in a park for lunch. That time could have been shortened - especially when one boy was bitten, two were hurt and the kids were starting to melt down.  However, we came home with a cooler full of cheese!

It feels good to be done with work for the summer. OK - that is truly a misnomer since I will be teaching an online class and taking a couple of classes myself. However, I don't have to physically go into work so it feels like I am not working. Can you hear the sigh?

I have a spa day planned next week with the ladies. Lunch, massage and dessert - just too good to be true.  First I have to take Andy to Chippewa Falls for his soccer games tomorrow. I also have to find time to clean this house. I hope I don't get anybody "dropping" by - the house needs a good hosing down.

So enjoy the weekend everyone. It looks like Spring has finally started to come.
