We're still here

No earthquakes or plagues here. We did have some rain yesterday - but I wouldn't call that Armageddon.

We spent the day in Chippewa Falls for Andy's soccer games. The Rapids Kickers won both games with Andy getting three goals the first game. Below they are posing with their new warm up jackets. An anonymous donor bought the jackets for the boys. They were pretty excited and looked like a class act.

So after a long day of playing soccer - this was the ride home: I know that the smell of victory is sweet - but it smelt like sweaty boy to me. (two hours in the car)  Andy ended up spending the night with the team at the coaches house.

I haven't seen Beth since yesterday morning. She rode along to watch her friends play their soccer game and then she had a birthday party sleepover to go to. Tim is officially off of nights so it will be nice to have him around today. The kids are really missing him.

AND I finally feel like I'm on break. Two days of traveling with the kids with a paper due date hanging over my head. Everything is done and today will be a day to relax. Ahhhh....I now smell summer.
